it is a type of poison, it probably makes them feel horrible since it is absorbed into their system
I would not put it on them.
Treat the house/environment and keep them inside and you won’t have a flea problem.

Capstar will kill all the fleas living on your dog and given as directed they are quite safe. A good bath does wonders for flea control also! Good luck!
