Question by carolyn z: Are there alternative methods for canine or feline flea control other than collars or flea spray?
I volunteer with a humane society and often am asked this by folks unable or unwilling to purchase traditional flea control methods.

Best answer:

Answer by Brooke
Sprinkle a little bit of garlic powder in your animal’s food. Dog’s love the flavor, and it acts as a natural flea repellant. (Only a half a tsp or so is needed.)
